ABOUT TCCIA

The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) was established in 1988. It was initiated with the support of the Tanzanian Government to strengthen the private sector.
The establishment of the TCCIA was an important step in moving on from a centralized, planned economy towards a more open, mixed economy giving full scope to privately owned enterprises and farms.

TCCIA has opened regional offices in all 26 regions of mainland Tanzania and over 90 district centres, which are autonomous in their operational activities. Assistance by Swedish governmental development agency-SIDA has played a vital role in establishment of the regional and district Chambers especially in providing training, office equipment and mobilization/sensitization of the business community.

These autonomous TCCIA Chambers in 21 regions of the country link the private sector to the Government with a view of promoting the development of private enterprise. By linking issues central to business, the Chamber serves an arena where dialogue with the government serves to promote sustained growth and development of the private sector.

JOB VACANCY 

Job Title: CUM SACCOS MANAGER 

Working Station – BABATI
Work duration –ONE YEAR
Starting date –  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Overall:
We are looking for CUM SACCOS MANAGER responsible for all Managerial work and growth of the SACCOS.

Job Duties:
▪︎ Reviewing and formulating policies, procedures and practices for SACCOS Operations.
▪︎ Administration and processing of loans.
▪︎ Follow up on loan repayments.
▪︎ Sending useful information to SACCOS members.
▪︎ Managing SACCOS financial resources and assets
▪︎ Preparation and reporting of financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and factsheet)
▪︎ Come up with income generating activities for the SACCOS.
▪︎ Recruiting new SACCOS members.
▪︎ Preparing SACCOS business plan and annual budgets.
▪︎ Coordinating external audit exercise and implementing recommendations set forth.
▪︎ Representing the SACCOS as is authorized by the board chairman
▪︎ Organize and deliver trainings to SACCOS member
▪︎ Organizing Board Meetings and AGM in an advisory capacity and implementing the resolutions made.
 
Essential Qualifications:
▪︎ Diploma in Cooperative Management/ Microfinance or equivalent qualifications
▪︎ Minimum of Three (3) years working experience in a financial institution preferably SACCOS.
▪︎ Computer literacy especially on MS Office and knowledge in accounting systems.
▪︎ Good presentation and reporting skills both oral and written.
▪︎ Knowledge in Microfinance Act Tier 3 and SACCOS regulations.

Salary: 
Competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate as per TCCIA Manyara SACCOS policies
