About the Unit
Industrial Solutions (YIS) is an autonomous business area within Yara, comprising Transport Reagents, Mining Applications, Industrial Nitrates, Base Chemicals and Feed Urea, Yara Marine Technologies and Stationary. The Brunsbüttel, Le Havre, Köping, Cubatão, Malaysia and Durban sites are also incorporated into the new business area. Industrial Solutions remains 100% Yara owned, but will have its own operating model, governance, focused strategy, contract terms and financial reporting. The business area has currently around 2,000 employees in 28 countries.
BU Mining Applications is the world’s largest independent supplier of Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) with a strong production platform and global supply system. We serve the civil explosives industry around the world, providing top quality products for optimal rock fragmentation performance and expert TAN knowledge.

Job Summary
We are now looking for a Sales Manager to secure new customers and outlets for our third-party products out of Egypt which is a major part of the ongoing Growth Strategy of this dynamic Business Unit. The position will report to Ludmila Voronova, Sourcing Director, Mining Applications and the position holder is expected to be an active and contributing member to the Business Unit commercial team.
Responsibilities
▪︎ To scout new markets and materialize new business
▪︎ Manage the commercial relationships with selected dedicated customers
▪︎ Manage the operational relationships – both externally and internally in Yara
▪︎ Manage appropriate / local logistical issues to enable a reliable supply to new markets
▪︎ Manage customs/duties/local laws and regulations so that Yara are compliant at all times
▪︎ Negotiate payment terms with customers and ensure payments are made accordingly
▪︎ Follow up any quality discussions with the customer
▪︎ Work in parallel and collaboratively with existing Yara sales resources
Profile
▪︎ Relevant degree in Business or similar
▪︎ Minimum 5 years’ commercial/operational experience, ideally in similar industries and international context
▪︎ Knowledge of the explosives industry and TAN in particular is an advantage
▪︎ Commercial acumen and ability to work independently, secure business and achieve results on own initiative
▪︎ Ability to work fast and under time pressure
▪︎ Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to operate in a multi-cultural and international environment
