Tanzania Mentors Action (TMA) is a non-governmental consultancy firm based in Dodoma with a sub-office in Dar es Salaam. TMA was founded and registered in 2013 under the Companies Act, Chapter 212 of the laws of Tanzania as a company without shares limited by guarantee. Currently TMA has established networks in 93 Local Government Authorities (LGAs) in 13 regions of Tanzania Mainland in; Dodoma, Iringa, Morogoro, Kagera, Kigoma, Njombe, Mbeya, Rukwa, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Mara, Mtwara and Lindi. In 2017 TMA established Saving and Credit Society for the purpose of supporting TMA and other staff employed by the Government, Private Sectors and NGO financially. Currently more than two billion Tanzania shillings has been provided to TMA Saccos members at affordable interest rate. Any staff employed by any sector is encouraged to join YMA Saccos.
